Licensed Professional Counselor serving Connecticut & South Carolina through online therapy.
I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to understanding people— especially those who seem like they “should” have it all together but are struggling beneath the surface.
Many of the people I work with are capable, motivated, and self-aware. They know what they should be doing, but anxiety, ADHD, OCD, perfectionism, or simply feeling overwhelmed keeps getting in the way.
That’s where our work begins.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and practical.
I’m not here to sit silently and occasionally ask, “How does that make you feel?” I want our sessions to feel like genuine conversations where you can be yourself, feel understood, and also walk away with something useful.
Some sessions may involve exploring patterns and understanding where they came from. Others might involve problem-solving, practicing a new skill, breaking down an overwhelming situation, or figuring out what your next step looks like.
We’ll adjust based on what you need.
My Approach
I believe insight is important—but insight alone doesn’t always create change.
That’s why I combine deeper understanding with practical strategies you can use outside of therapy.
My work draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies.
A Little About Me Outside the Therapy Room
I’m a big believer that therapists are humans too.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, finding ways to make everyday life feel a little more balanced, and spending time with friends and family.
I value authenticity, humor, compassion, and creating a space where you don’t feel like you have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to have the perfect words.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong or what you want to work on before reaching out.
Sometimes the starting point is simply:
“I know something needs to change.”
We can figure the rest of together.
